Storage and Handling

1) Please check the following before coil winding:
a) Are the wire diameter and type in accordance with the requirement?
b) Is there any damage of the film during handling?
2) Don’t spray the chemical solution, film stripper to the magnet wire.
3) Please avoid damage to enamelled wire which may be caused by broken plastic bobbin.
4) Please store the rest after coil winding so as to avoid the dust especially metal powder moisture and sun beam.

It is recommended to store wire at room temperature, however too cold weather does not mean anything, nevertheless if is too cold, it is stiff.
So they have to be moved into the manufacture’s room for some hours/days just for warm it up to ambient temperature.

a) Please appropriate winding machine avoid damaging or reducing diameter of the wire.
b) Minimize the elongation of the wire during coiling.
Generally speaking, it is better to retrain the elongation up to maximum 5%, Table on page 29(catalog) shows tension versus elongation.
c) Avoid damage caused by breaking. It is better to use normal break instead of static break.

a) Please avoid transformation of the coil shape and prevent, damage on the insulation materials.
b) Please draw deep attention to the handling of the coil before varnish treatment.
c) Please draw deep attention when selecting the component impregnating varnish.
d) Please avoid dust especially metal powder, moisture during storing the coil.
